The main problem at the time was that’s it’s an unfair advantage. Take gNewSense for example. They created a Ubuntu derivative (fair enough, like Debian->Ubuntu), but didn’t take ’shortcuts of convenience’. The GNU operating system suffered from this in its early days when GNU/Linux operating system tried to boast added value with non-Free s/w. |

UT3 doesn’t run on Linux I got it working in Wine but not very well, unplayable really. |
