Oracle is not a Linux company. Neither is Google, for example. In fact, in Google's case, many products are targeted at Windows as a matter of priority. This is true for Novell too, to an extent. Remember NAC?

I don’t think that Novell as ever a Linux company. It accounts for very little of its overall revenue.
