Microsoft’s Own Servers Become Zombies, Spew Out SPAM
We’ve already covered the fiasco that’s MSNBot deliberately spamming Web sites with bogus referrals and we explained why Microsoft is indirectly responsible for the world's SPAM. It’s now being reported that “it’s getting worse as MSNBot machines behind the following 172 IP addresses must have been infected or cracked, because they’re trying to deliver SPAM to mail servers all around the world.”

Mainframes that run Windows are already under attack by worms. And some people actually consider putting Windows on large-scale supercomputers? █
Highlight: Novell was the first to acknowledge that Microsoft FUD tactics had substance. Novell then used anti-Linux FUD to market itself. 
Highlight: Xandros let Microsoft make patent claims and brag about (paid-for) OOXML support. 
Highlight: Linspire's CEO not only fell into Microsoft arms, but he also assisted the company's attack on GNU/Linux. 
Highlight: Microsoft craves pseudo (proprietary) standards and gets its way using proxies and influence which it buys. 
Highlight: The invasion into the open source world is intended to leave Linux companies neglected, due to financial incentives from Microsoft. 
Analysis: Xen, an open source hypervisor, possibly fell victim to Microsoft's aggressive (and stealthy) acquisition-by-proxy strategy.

You’ve explained nothing of the sort, you know very well that Windows machines in botnets are there because of vulnerabilities for which patches have been made available in a timely fashion by Microsoft, or because the users opened and executed email attachments from strangers with titles like “Your fan sents U a Greetings Card!!!” and so on. My company has 60,000 XP desktops and none of them are in any botnets. How exactly do you rationalize that?
And mainframes don’t run Windows. At least try to get your technical terms right.
(The ominous-looking text in RED that Roy Schestowitz attaches to all my comments accuses me of engaging in “witch hunts”. Consider that in the context of the comments here and ask yourself if you need to be best buddies with Roy in order to avoid being branded for doing essentially the same thing)
