The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

As do I. I've been with Debian for ages now and if it 'went' then I
wouldn't know what to do becasue I havent even tried installing RedHat :-)

Unfortunately there are some factors that just won't go away and have to be
discusssed :-(

I've been quiet, listening (well, watching) to what's happened over the
past few months. I do however feel that the project was better the way it
was - have one leader, then the leader can assign certain jobs. This Board
Of Directors was one huge step, but I went along with it in any case.

I think that everyone that's resigning should seriously look where their
values lie. You're making a commitment to Debian and then you're off in a
huff because of a decision you didn't like. Do you quit your job because
the boss makes you sweep the floor instead of your normal routine?

I guess these are the trials and tribulations of having a 'voluntary'
project - people can more or less come and go as they please. If the BoD
want to do the same, then it's time to go back to the old way - they
obviously can't handle the responsability (please, I'm not personally
sledging anyone). This should be a condition upon BoD entry. If all the
politicians were gone, then countries would fall into the same crap flying
around as we are now - we need them.

I suggest that Bruce take control back and perhaps (if at all) at a later
date appoint a new BoD which fully understands the responsabilities and
PERIOD of CONTRACT before they can 'apply' to leave (and only after a
replacement is found).

Regards
