The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

This sounds like it will cause failure in either fresh installs or
upgrades. It also seems that the work around is more like:

If this is a fresh install DO NOT enable shadow untill the installation of
X-Windows is completed (even though the opportunity will arrise)
If this is an upgrade, turn off shadow before the upgrade if it is
currently in opperation on the machine, and don't accept reconfiguration
fo shadow untill X-Windows has been upgraded.

Does this seem correct to you? We are really saying "Just ignore the man
behind the curtain, when he says: 'Do you want Shadow?'."

Only after the installation phase should 'shadowconfig on' be executed.

?
