The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

What sort of way? I don't think it's appropriate to allow people to
modify Deb (other than grayscaling, etc.) and still call him Deb or
associate him with Debian ... a logo is like a signature at times, and
forgeries (however unlikely) are bad news.
It might be appropriate, however, for someone developing a hamm
radio dist. based on debian to use a modified Deb wearing a set of
headphones and holding a mic, but then it's clear that it's not just Deb
anymore.
I don't think, however, that it's neccessary to charge for use
of the logo, so long as we require that anything it's used on is either a
SPF-approved debian product or a verbatim copy of it.
