_goblinjono: Karmic for me was (and is) fantastic....I had a few issues involving sound but they were easily fixed...Ive found it smoother, faster.....and shut down time for 9.10 is amazing....4 seconds...Dec 04 00:13
sebsebseb_goblin: well things are rather fast for boot up, shut down, and the disk checking after 23 or so boots, if  Ext4 is done in 9.04, but it's not quite stable there since the kernel and suchDec 04 00:13

sebsebseb_goblin: I had bad experience trying to virtual machine Mandriva, but then 2010  RC worked,  and the final,  and I wasn't impressed with 9.10, so  Mandriva One 2010 became my host on here a week or so agoDec 04 00:19

sebsebsebof course that could probably be sorted out, but I  wanted to go Mandriva anyway, after the lack of proper end user features for 9.10.  ones that are actually seen and used by the user.  Ubuntu One does not count, and the new icon theme for Gnome doesn't really count. Which leaves the boot up and Software Centre.Dec 04 00:22
