Judges give these people soft sentences, and look at the people they give them to. They're in violation of the sentence less than 3 hours after it begins, and then when the stupid ankle monitor starts beeping and they probably wouldn't be in much trouble if they just came back to the probation dept, they think everything goes away if they just cut the thing off.
