This sort of takes away any motivation to help them acquire monopolies from work and ideas they frequently got unrestricted from the rest of society in the first place. Hours ago in IGN: "Microsoft did not say how many staff will lose their jobs, but significant layoffs are inevitable. IGN has asked Bethesda for comment. Microsoft declined to expand further when contacted by IGN."
